Had a wonderfully quiet weekend, yoga, errands, simming, telly, went to see READ MY LIPS with Phyllis and then for some mex at Curra's, one of my favorite places. We had a fantastic rolling convo about art, movies, et., and it monsooned while we were in the restaurant and driving home. Rained a lot and heavily the whole weekend. Gloriousity.

Picked N&C&co up at the airport on Sunday night, all home safe. No more quiet, but it was nice while it lasted.

Went to see The Transgressors last night with Pam, shocking Chad, who never believes I will actually stay up to see one of their shows on a weeknight. Pam had suggested I sim until she came at 11:00 and I did and didn't feel sleepy at all. It was a great show, free, cause Monday night, and they had a couple of guest musicians so musical saw and violin were added to the rest of the mix. Chad and Big Jeff also augmented the set with a few numbers that were just them. Dark ballads and murder songs, with castanet and trumpet in with the guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums. It's good stuff.

Graham called and we had lunch today at an awesome vegetarian Indian place, the best thing being these very sweetened squash balls, battered and deep fried. Yumness.

Best of all, I seem to have recovered my determintation re writing and have been up and productive the last three mornings with no feeling that I'm going to stop until the novel is done. And then I'll take a break for a short story and a revision before the novel revising begins...
