There's a little sad down here, that a certain concert could not be attended from so far away. Sounds like it was absolutely fantastically wonderful. Congratulations, all of you!

My weekend thus far...saw The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants on Friday, late afternoon; I am a sucker for gal pal movies, and this one, while not great art, was fairly sophisticated for what it was. The extra bonus joy of it was that one of the storylines was shot in Oia on Santorini, all over that gorgeous place, and it was a real pleasure to see it again, even if just on film, and be able to think, hey, I was there! I recognize that street, those steps, that view!

Later Friday night I saw Hedwig and the Angry Inch (for the second time) at a neighbor's loft. That's an awesome movie. Well worth a second viewing. Then we watched rather more Triumph the Insult Comic Dog than was probably good for us.

Saturday and Sunday have a been a mix of chores, errands, personal grooming (gave myself another haircut, this one perhaps not quite as successful as the last) and low-key socializing/hanging out. Plus a stopped-up disposal drain. Sometime today I meant to do some editing work for my step-father that I've been procrastinating for about two weeks, but here it is 4:30 and I can't really say I feel much like doing it...
