A link sent me by my pal Chad, these four little animated films are quite funny (I thought so, anyway). They are the, um, adventures of Strindberg & Helium. That's August Strindberg to you, pal.

So I rode home on the bus driven by the guy who yells, at every stop, like a carnival barker, "The-ere you GO!" as he breaks the bus with a lead foot, as if to help us up and off by throwing us out of our seats.

But the purpose of this post is to recount my consumerly poor impulse control. I have been wanting a DVD player for some time now, but was restraining myself, not using the credit card, etc. Well, there it was, on Amazon, a Toshiba, well reviewed, cheap. And so easy, right? Amazon's so friendly. So, click, click, one more. Oh my god, I just bought a DVD player. Now, I'm not exaclty feeling any remorse--I want a DVD player. But "poor impulse control" may as well be tattooed on my forehead. Now I'm going to need DVDs.

Meanwhile, first appointment with massage therapist tonight. Her name is Liz. Oh please let it help take care of my shoulder pain.
