So, The Intergalactic Nemesis, the little show that could, is going to have a Broadway run! It will be at the New Victory, with tickets starting at $14, April 5 through April 13. Details and tickets here.

Before and after that, the show will be in many other places, playing venues in Colorado, outside Chicago, up into the Toronto area, back in Madison WI, and upstate NY. Following the Broadway run is a series of amazing shows, including the Kennedy Center, Scotland, southern California, and the Spoleto Festival in South Carolina. Check the complete tour schedule here.

Austin Chronicle article about the Intergalactic Nemesis Book Two show, "Robot Planet Rising," and some of the history. As with the first show, I was one of the original writers on the radio plays, which have since been revised and morphed into the current kickass live action graphic novel show. It premieres tonight at the Long Center.

Apparently there will be some real robots there. Tickets here!

So, this radio play that I was one of the original writers on, The Intergalactic Nemesis, which is now a live action graphic novel show (you can still see my name on the screen at the beginning) is going to be on Conan tomorrow, February 14th, doing a scene from the show. How freaking cool is that? (Doubt I'll be mentioned, but some of that stuff is still my original words!) If you're local, you can head to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, which is going to be screening it as it is being broadcast, or you can stream it to your computer after the broadcast from HERE.

That's tomorrow night, Tuesday Feb 14 on Conan, 11:30 (10:30 central) on TBS.

Other Intergalactic Nemesis stuff:

  • NPR's All Things Considered ran a  feature story on the show a few weeks ago and you can listen to it HERE.
  • The TOUR continues, with dates all over. The show is honestly very cool and a lot of fun; also kid-friendly.

Also, plus!
[ profile] con_or_bust's fundraiser auction started on Saturday. It helps fans of color/non-white fans attend SFF conventions. Bidding ends Sunday, February 25, 2012. There are tons of great items up for auction here. Go bid!

The Intergalactic Nemesis which has in it some immortal stuff written by yours truly, is coming to New York for a July 5 - 14 run at the Barrow Street Theater, 27 Barrow Street.

It's a fun show. You should go.

Went last night, accompanied by the lovely [profile] stinabat, to see the Intergalactic Nemesis in the first show of its national tour. Pretty excellent to see this thing I worked on so many years ago, as a kind of rock n' roll, gorilla theater thing, now showing in a 1200 seat theater that was pretty close to full, with nice production values and an excellent, high-energy performance. The episodes I wrote are still tight and get lots of laughs (my Greenland joke gets lots of laughs!--you'd have to see it to understand), fun. I hope the tour kicks ass and the Broadway producers who are showing interest decide to produce it and that I then get big fat royalty checks. Free money, as Howard would say.

Anyway, it might be coming to a theater near you!
