I found some mushrooms in the front yard by the hose spigot this morning, when I was watering the plants. Yellowish with a thin coating of rusty red on the tops. They look quite caustic.

Yesterday I wrote and read all day. Heaven. Then Dean and I went for some cheap dinner at Chango's, which included a pomegrantie sangria that was actually a pomegranite sangria slushy, tart and yummy. Then we went for a little walk so he could look at shirts at Buffalo Exchange, and then more walk, and Antone's, where he bought a Jimmi Hendrix CD and told me the story of his first acid trip at 15, at a Jimmi Hendrix concert.

I'm loving the empty, quiet house. Being naked is sheer joy, since it really cuts down on the itch-factor. (I did put on clothes to go out and water the plants.)

Don't know how I'm going to get this story written by next Saturday, but we'll see. (eek!)
