Aug. 20th, 2003 03:22 pmOooh, had a such a good time in Vancouver. Alyx and Kelly. Their wedding. Meeting family and friends of their's. The botanical gardens. Alyx and Kelly's excellent cats, Minnow and Rumble. Going to Spanish Banks. And best of all, just hanging out with A&K, eating various good foods, taking in movies and telly, and laughing our asses off.
On the second leg of my flight home there were two couples celebrating their 50th wedding anniversaries, which I take as a spectacularly good omen.
Got home to the presence of Elizabeth, visiting. Worked. Came home and sat down at my computer to discover I had somehow lost the file of the story I am revising. There's a copy on the computer at work, but I know I had one here and now it's gone...which means I can't get any work done on it this afternoon. Sigh.
It should rain now. I will use the power of my mind to make so.
