Figs fresh off the tree this morning, all reddish and pale green on the outside, sweet and pink on the inside. Almost indecent.

Have some art projects to do, have just cleaned, and maybe, just maybe I'll actually make it to a movie this afternoon.

It is hot here, and the light strong, the cicadas already singing their rising and falling electric thrum.
