Walked to Azul to meet Katherine&co for lunch. On the walk I was passed by an old man on a big tricycle, who rung his bell at me (ahem). (obligatory food porn: I had an egg muffin with steamed spinach and goat cheese; it was good; the three-year-old had a peanut butter&jelly waffle fold, and ate every last bite) Then they dropped me at work and are now headed to the airport for to wing homeward.

If you have at all been thinking of coming to the Universtiy of Texas to study something or other, and you also happen to write, here's another reason to come, the largest student prize for writing in the country: It's $90,000. Can you believe that? I may need to take a class next semester.
