television frivolities

Tuesday is a big television night these days. Alexandra comes over to watch Gilmore Girls and House, while I tape Bones and Supernatural. Lots of tv happy last night--pretty much enjoyed them all, but Supernatural is really hitting some personal happy buttons. Boys in peril. Brothers in peril--it's why I loved Speed Racer when I was a wee child. Younger brothers dragged through hallways by nasty evil poltergeists while older brothers race to save them. It gives me huge happy brain squee. I don't know why, it just does, and always has.

Tom Kha at Madam Mam's with Cheryl, a friend who works on campus; yum. Our weather finally feels somewhat November-ish, though it's still quite sunny. The walk to the restaurant was fun, not least because I dressed to amuse myself today. I'd describe my ensemble as 60s Italian SF. I'm style-y. It's quite possible that no one else gets the reference, but what matters is that I'm entertained.
