So, this five hour market research thing I just did was actually a litigation focus group, kind of like being on a jury without actually being on a jury (and at the end I got paid $125). It was interesting and the five hours went by very quickly; it was also, due to its subject matter, pretty depressing, but also the sort of thing that sets my brain spinning (I signed a non-disclosure statement, so no details, sorry), which is ultimately a good thing.

Plus, you know, cash money.
