Life here began out there...um, no. Or maybe. But anyway. Not very post-y lately. All is well enough. There's even a 40% chance of rain today. It seriously needs to rain. Seriously. Okay?

Last day of lovely three-day weekend; I've done some work on the current freelance project, chorely stuff, and a good deal of relaxing, with some walks and lunch with a neighbor peep thrown in. Re-watched A Chinese Ghost Story for the freelance thing--oh the hardship. I love that movie so much.

A nice person gave me Martha Wells The Gate of the Gods for xmas and I'm happily reading that now. Awesome tasty good. This trilogy has been a total delight.

Working on having the positive attitude on my own fiction front, rather than the dour one of just waiting for things to be rejected, an unlovable attitude which comes upon me sometimes, despite my generally enlightened and spiritually admirable sangfroid. ahem.

Below, two pics from photos taken over the turn of the year, the first few in Vancouver, the rest here at home.
