Went to the Dionysium last night, delayed to the second Tuesday this month because of July 4th. Several fun things: got to see C and A and others, including Graham, still doing Dionysium duty on the organ even though he's now a famous film composer.  One of the two guys behind the original Star Trek fanfilm episodes of the Starship Exeter came and showed a clip of their second one, plus some of the doc on the making of--they're into the vintage look and feel of the original, and they really have done kind of an amaziing job of it. Fun. And Clane Hayward read from her previously self-published but now picked up by Chronicle Books novel, The Hypocrisy of Disco, which is about her youth as a feral hippy child and the perils of bringing tofu sandwiches to school (to which I can relate) and it was very funny.
