Just found out that I made the honorable mentions in The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror again, for "Two Hearts in Zamora" in Cross Plains Universe this time. Is swoopy. Someday, maybe, the actual best...

Meanwhiles, ouch ouch ouch, my right forearm and wrist hurt. Result of the travel, and carrying of heavy bag. Is most annoying. And, of course, sitting at the computer all day, first at home, writing, then at work, editing, not really helpful.
Ouch ouch ouch.
No, I'm not particularly stoic.

Inspired by my sister, I got ingredients to make my own chai, the way it oughtta be made, simmered for a long while on the stove with spices and fresh ginger and strong black tea and some milk (soy creamer in my case). And I'm gonna make it.

TV: I like Pushing Daisies, especially the aunts, the dog, and the private detective guy, all of whom I rather adore. But I have to say that Chuck and pieman and the device of no touching do not so much engage me.
Criminal Minds is standing up to the challenge of no Mandy Patinkin nicely; now it's really about the team and what they do, and not about Mandy.

Suddenly there are a lot of movies opening that I want to see.
