Or, pictures. Some are from the wedding I went to out in Llano, on the grounds of an old hotel, formerly a hippy flophouse, now a more dignified establishment, with lush grounds set above the Llano River. Some highlights:

~hanging out on the grounds watching the late afternoon light progress over the river on Friday, many butterflies working the garden

~a horse amusing itself out on the scruffy island in the middle of the river on Saturday morning, while wedding preparations were underway

~the cinematic splendor of flower girls in old fashioned dresses running around on the green lawns in the late golden light

~Flaco the dog with a bowtie, serving as best man

~ two people of 50 getting married, one of them for the first time

~ green draped tables in the sun and tree shade overlooking the river

~ people dancing

~early morning convo w/friend K, in the dark, on the couch, while everyone else sleeps
