In the last few weeks I've written an article on seed banks and a first draft of a short story; not much on the novel, which I need to get back to now. But not bad for a shmoe with a fairly busy day job.
I've also managed some art, and saw both The Fall (awesome awesome awesome! seriously, go see it on a big screen) and Hellboy II (gives truly great creature; I had some issues with the script/plot/action, though), both of which activities, mucking around with paper and color and shape and going to films, I find theraputic; all in all, there is happy. And tonight, massage!
