I mean, I could give up the occassional bacon I now eat, and the fish and fowl...but the cheese and eggs? Oy. And I already eat way less meat than most folks. From the article:

and touching on part of why it's such a hard sell...

I often have little breakthroughs and insights for particular pieces of fiction in progress right on the edge of sleep, either falling into or waking from, proof, I suppose, that the back brain burners are cooking those story stews even when they're not front and center to my attention.
