Jul. 1st, 2010 05:41 pmJust saw Micmacs, which is lovely and awesome and fun and very much in the continuum of Amelie, The City of Lost Children, and Delicatessen. With my movie, and because I'm on mini-vacation, I had one of the Alamo's chocolate-peanut butter milkshakes. Yum in the extreme.
It has been grey and teasing rain all day, but not really raining. I still have hopes, though.

Some things of note:
The newest issue of Crossed Genres is up: issue # 20, Lies.
Apex Book Company is having a sale and calling it Summer of Love.
Charlie Jane Anders' review of The Last Airbender over at io9 is hilarious.

This morning while writing I had a full-blown vision of where and how my three main characters in the current novel end up after, and the seeds of a sequel were planted... Deep Terrain is at 73k. Another 17k, about, I think, and it will be a draft.
