I lied, I'm sleepy and I have a sinus headache, I just wasn't awake enough to realizie it.
Spent all yesterday installing curtain rods and new drapes in my bedroom. Crinkly floaty cotton ones in a pale blue-lavender. They look smashing. It was interesting drilling and screwing and hammering with four sore fingertips on my right hand. Also rearranged a bit (natch), and cleaned, and collected things for the yard sale next Saturday. (Nadia: you haven't labeled them yet? Me: no.) All strangely exhausting. Fell asleep very early and slept until fairly late.
Trying to decide what, if anything, to do for my birthday. The easiest thing (other than nothing) is to pick a place with alcohol and tell everyone I'll be there at such and so a time, come and celebrate my approaching middle age with me. (yipes)
Sula and Aristotle's joy in one another makes me soooo happy. Yay.
Farscape was pretty rocking. Saw Signs. Held up okay until the end, then, whoa, tanked. M. Night needs to take a little break and work a little longer on the next script. Even before the end, the script has a big problem reconciling the get back your faith story with the alien story; it just doesn't really work, but you're carried a good distance anyway by the director's attention to detail and his way of telling a story.
Need tea or something. Waaaaaaa.....
