1. Have you ever cohabited with a dog? I mean, you've had cats and cats and more cats... was there ever a dog in your life?
When I was growing up we had dogs, not cats. Golden Retrievers, specifically. Lisa and then Tanya, and they were wonderful dogs, though Tanya was sad, cause my mom was the dog person and then she left. My mom also gave me my first kitten, when I was 7, much to my father's ire (since I lived with him, not her). I still looooove dogs, but they're too much responsibility for me.
2. Do any of your elder relations have a knicknack or other piece of junky stuff that you've coveted since childhood?
I'm not sure they count as junky, since they're actually worth lots of bucks, but my mom had these two porcelain Chinese Fu Dogs that my Dad has now (since my mom took nothing when she left) and I covet them and have since childhood.
3. If you had to produce a food crop to sustain yourself, would you fish, farm, or what? You could trade your crop with other food producers.
I've always thought that in an alternate life I'd have goats on a ranch and do goat milk and goat cheese, though obviously that wouldn't entirely sustain me. But with the trading...?
4. What's the funkiest thing you've ever researched for a story?
Hmmm...death rituals and decomposition of bodies, I guess.
5. Have you ever been fired?
Nope. I always seem to be a beloved employee, somehow or another, despite all my goofing off on lj and such.
