An announcement that is due a note in lj, even though most of you don't even know who these people are.
Chad and Pam got engaged on Sunday. This just seems very right and is very happy making. They are both sweetly overjoyed about it. It is good. Yay!!!
Meanwhile...
~gnashing my way through revision of one particular scene has taken a week so far and I'm only almost through it.
~book promotion is not an activity which makes me happy, but I'm working on it (there's a lot of nervous nail-biting and angst for me in wondering if the books will go out, get where they're supposed to go, get reviewed, get decent reviews...if I'm doing the promo thing right, etc...)
~I've definitely reached the 'I can't wait until my condo is finished and ready for me to move in' point. Even though the longer it takes the more I can save toward the downpayment and things like a refrigerator and vaccume cleaner.
~it is soooo beautiful out; this is the time of year when it just kills me to be stuck in a windowless office most of the day
~Purim--and I can't find hamentashen anywhere in Austin. Sadness.
~I need a website.
