Band of Outsiders is an early Godard film in which he mugs on American pulp fiction and film. It's fun, in parts, tedious in others. But it has one essential, truly fantastic scene, and that's the dance scene, in which the three protagonists dance together in a line, in finger snapping, hipster swaying, ain't we cool and having a ball b&w wonderfulness. I'd love to have that scene on a loop playing nonstop. Awesome.
