*scattered rain and very humid this morning + walking to work = swmming in sweat
*swimming in sweat + frigid air conditioned office = congealed sweat and ch-ch-chattering teeth
This has been a PSA for anyone who might one day come to work at the University of Texas, not own a car, and therefore walk to work.
Young Adam is a British indie movie starring Ewan McGregor and Tilda Swinton, with music by David Byrne.
the good:
Ewan McGregor, full frontal nudity
also his performance
the acting overall
the film's palette and visuals, which, on small budget, are good
the story is engaging, pretty much all the way through--I wasn't bored
the blah:
even though the story was engaging, at the end it was kind of like, gee, why exactly did you engage me in that story so closely and carefully? cause, really what did I get out of it? not much, except the above.
one 'sex' scene involving some serious woman-hate that was not a happy or pleasant thing--even though some audience members laughed (nervously, we may hope)
