First the other things: the HEB near me is a bust. No luna bars, no health/natural food section, no organically grown produce of any kind, no free range eggs or chicken, and, essentially, nothing I would buy except tortillas. sigh. I need a car, dammit.
My fingertips hurt, and it's driving me crazy and making me grumpy.
Here's my ArmadilloCon schedule, just for posterity's sake:
Friday I teach in the writing workshop all freaking day. My teaching partner, though, is Sharon Shinn, who also happens to be the GoH; so that's cool.
Saturday:
1100 - The Life of a Spear Carrier

Noon-1:00 - Reading
3:00 PM-4:00 PM - Autographing, Dealers' Room

7:00 pm - Character Development: Cool & Not-so-cool

Sometimes a character catches your fancy and inspires your dreams. Sometimes a character is so bad, that you can't finish the tale. Where did the author go wrong?
10 pm - Good (& Bad) SF/F/Horror Films
Allston*, Brammer, de Orive, Reisman, Turner, Waldrop
Some SF/F/Horror films are good. Some are really bad. Some are really, and that's good. Our panelists tell you the ones to watch, the ones to avoid and the ones that make good drinking games.
