Woke up this morning and I just couldn't face geting up and going to work. I could feel my defenses down, throat getting sore, the exhaustion hole from painting and moving that I never completely climbed out of having sucked me back down with ArmadilloCon and then work. Time to stay home and sleep a lot.
So here I am, at home, and--yes--posting from my home computer which finally has a live and working internet connection. Yay! (still haven't attempted to figure the email out from here, but I can check it via webmail)
A freight train is going by as I type, drowning out the construction noises. Aristotle is lying on a windowsill in the sun (he was in my lap but I had to get up to answer the phone). Sula is wandering around. I slept like, all morning, with awake breaks to eat summat, read, and let the tech guy in to figure out the internet thing. (meanwhile my cable isn't working, but that's another story)
