The song Summertime (and the livin' is easy) is in my head, for some reason.
I am currently reading Liz William's Banner of Souls and liking it, mostly--her writing is very evocative of fantastic and beautiful, horrifying things, though there is something missing for me in the character dynamics.
Sunday night some folks came over, bringing Indian food (blessings be upon them and the Clay Pit) and I finally watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which I had been warned off of during November, my month of malais and oh-the-loneliness-of-me-the-eternal-alone-one, but I watched the movie as day after tomorrow science fiction rather than a love story and as such, loved it. Really really brill and engaging.
I still can't seem to scare up any freelance work and the budget is gasping for help.

douglain, I have until I'm 98. Not bad. Of course that doesn't mean I won't be a drooling mess.
