Okay, since I have nothing to do while I wait for P to show to go to dinner, here's some actual content, though it may not be scintillating.
Spent the day alternately folding origami stars and finishing up the review book and making notes for the review. Other than a shower and some food intake (over book and review notes), that is pretty much all I did. The cats found me boring, but it was a rather satisfying day for me.
Last night there was a party at an upstairs neighbors' (the potential for a social life without having to roam far from home is really pretty nifty, though occasionally one will want to go more than twenty steps away I suppose). One of these neighbors happens to be the boss of the editor who gave me the book to review, which is weird symmetry of some sort. Anyway, one cocktail, various food items, and small or average sized talk later, I was itchy as all freaking hell and soooo tired, and it was only 9:30. Luckily, home and the back scratcher were only a flight of stairs away.
P is still not here and I'm hungry dammit!
