Went to donate clothes and hygiene items, and some books, just because, to the Burger Center, which is the stadium here where they've put bussed-in refugees. Food to the food bank, that's doing the sorting and delivering...
Overwhelmed and about ready for news avoidance. I won't be responding to any posts on the subject. The government of this country is un-fucking-believable and beyond reason, there's nothing more to say or belabor over it. Will they be ashamed? No. There's a huge volunteer and donation effort--people are still good. But the government is full of greedy useless sociopathic total and complete asshats.
