Thank you oh glorious lj fairies, for my lush new paid-accountness. And all my wonderful new icons. Joyjoy! Now I have to post more so I can use them all.

Also, our supposed meeting this morning turned out to be a sit down to big heart-shaped, creamcheese icinged cake with chocolate-dipped strawberries all over the top that Julia had made for us all. There was lots of gossip and joking and entertaining stories. Now I'm sleepy from the carbs and buzzed from the sugar. mmmmm

This is a nice change of pace, since last night I just wanted to hide away from the world, which is so full of ugly right now. I curled up on my couch kind of whimpery-like, and watched telly with the cats, pathetically thankful when Aristotle finally curled up in my lap.
