After a somewhat sore-making yoga yesterday morning, and new fan purchasing (an important thing hereabouts during the months when it's warm enough to make it get really warm inside but you aren't willing to turn the air conditioning on yet, because, good god, it's only March or April) to replace the one which bit the dust, I really really just wanted to stay home and write for a few hours before doing some chore-like things. But I went to the march, cause, you know, and also, so Nadia felt okay about going and taking the kids, which she wouldn't on her own. I ended up, near the end of the march, sweaty, sore all over, and in a bad mood. Like, grumpola, though I maintained a pleasant demeanor just barely. Of course by the time we got home there wasn't going to be any writing taking place. Oh well. I showered, we got Thai food from Madam Mam's and, some Tom Kha later, my mood was much improved. Did chores, then watched Bring it On on the telly for the Eliza Dushku content.
The other notable item of the day was that Aristotle pretty quickly figured out how to unsnap the safety catch of his new collar and remove it.
And, this morning, email from Ed Kramer (after months and months of not hearing from him), editor of the erstwhile anthology Kabbalah: The Magic of Solomon saying that though the initial publishing deal fell apart, they are close to securing a new contract and will hopefully soon "confirm an October 2003 release, in time for the World Fantasy Convention in Washington, DC." So, yay!
