Had a bit of an adventure with Phyllis finding the cheap but amazing interior Mex restaurant so highly rec'd by Pam, but we found it and it was sooooo good. And cheapo. Had to pick up and drop off a forgotten guitar for Grant first, which meant we had a little driving tour of Austin, which, on a beautiful night with the windows open, fun. Then Phyllis came over so I could introduce her to Daria, which she'd never seen. We drank the apricot liqueur from Greece which I have been saving all this time--mmmmmm--and enjoyed the heck out of Daria.
This morning I went to find a small present to send to Nadia's mom, a comfort candle and some humor. Then I went to the Coop East and treated myself to a look through all their incredible handmade papers and bought three exquisite sheets for future porjects, along with three swanky new markers which were on sale. Yippee. Art supplies are definitely worth mega happiots.
