Lots of rain in the forecast, rained all last night, still drippy. Very good happy thing.
One of my oldest friends, who I've known since I was 16 and he was 26, is in town for a month to teach a course (four of them, actually, each a week long) in digital filmmaking, specifically in the use of Final Cut Pro. He got in yesterday, checked into his dorm on campus and we went to dinner. Both cheap drunks; one drink each and giggle giggle. All these years later, we still connect in the same way, and he's still someone I love very much. His teaching schedule is fulltime, m-f 8-5, but we should still manage to spend some good hangtime. It helps that he's so conveniently located right where I work.
I have a lap full of warm cat, which is making me very warm and sweaty. Aristotle full-grown is a small cat. I think he stayed that way to maximize lap options.
