Sad, for A&K, and for Buddha.
Disgruntled because it appears that even should I have a job come September 1st, there may be a reduction, which believe me, I cannot afford, in my take home pay because of reduction in the university's contribution to premium sharing (part of the health insurance deductions). Only to affect those employed less than 40 hours. As my boss pointed out, if one VP of the U were to be laid off, they could make up a lot of the budget shortfall in one swell foop.
Meanwhile I went to the chiroproctor this morning; he seems to be a good one, and I like his treatment method...but I have to meet a $250 deductible before any insurance kicks in for the chiro.
I think I'll go home early, just because.
