Took myself down to Flipnotics last night to see the distilled form of The Transgressors, which is just Chad and Big Jeff with two guitars (though Jeff switches off a lot, so it's really four). I love it when they do that. Such a rich but paired down sound, completely appropriate to the dark liquor and murder ballad angst of their songs. Chad's voice is getting better, deeper and more malleable. Eliz showed up about half way through, coming from dinner with Rebecca, who I was glad to see. (she told me she'd comp me to all four upcoming film society events, which includes the regional premiere of Once Upon a Time in Mexico, so yay!)

Took an itchy pill last night and kept falling asleep at work today, but here I am now, with the story under revision once again on my home computer and the house quiet. So, to work, to work!
