The Order was engaging enough that I didn't notice the itching for its duration, which was just the escape I wanted. I think it was a pretty good movie. It definitely had some things I really liked, though it also sported a few elements that made me sigh: so, not a great movie, but a good one.
Allegra's birthday, and party in the park, today. This morning it was lovely out, actually cool, a real change in the feel of the air. And the pinata for the party was a sun, so I felt there was a nice ritual significance to the bashing and breaking of it on this soon-to-be-fall day. Not that I mentioned that to the kids or their parents.
Very little work accomplished this afternoon, as I was zonked from the morning. I believe a sick day to stay home and write is in order tomorrow.
