Went to yoga on Saturday morning, for the first time in a looong time. I have to start either going or practicing on my own again, because not only did I not itch while practicing, things were a bit calmer for the rest of the weekend, and I know it's not the new prescrip, because I haven't picked it up yet.
After writing yesterday, I went for about a forty minute walk; it was a beautiful evening, gold and breezy, and the walking, after all day sitting on my butt, was excellent (except for the woman talking on her phone while driving who almost nailed me turning against my walk sign). When I got home, N&C had done up some chicken on the grill, plus corn on the cobb. Mmm. Then Chad and I went to see Underworld. I kept my expectations low, and really, all I wanted was some highly visual, totally fantastical escapism, so--I was very happy with it. It was way fun, action, blood, shiny black leather camp and gore in the most entertaining way. Their hearts were in the right place for the making of this sort of pulp.

I've lined a new freelance job for Texas Monthly, due in the beginning of January and it actually sounds like a fun one.
I have now tried to seduce three different friends into starting an lj and none of them are going for it, they are all too busy. I understand, of course, and it's fine, but I feel kinda guilty for not having brought anyone into the fold, what with my lj codes all going unused and all.
